Bryson started his career at Arthur Andersen in Washington DC providing audit and consulting services to a variety of clients. After his time at Arthur Andersen, he implemented two Sarbanes-Oxley compliance programs, one at Nextel Communications (NYSE: S) and the other at Harcourt Education (NASDAQ: HMHC). Bryson then returned to business school, and upon graduating, worked as an investment banker for Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the US and Latin America financial institutions group. He was also Senior Principal at a boutique advisory firm that assists small and medium sized businesses obtain growth capital. Bryson has raised over $3.7 billion in public and private capital offerings. He received a B.S. in Accounting and M.B.A. from BYU where he was a Hawes Scholar. Bryson is also a Certified Public Accountant and holds the Accreditation in Business Valuation (ABV) from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
