Sam joined RET in April 2020. Since joining, Sam has helped lead RETs work across prop-tech verticals including enterprise financial technology, acquisitions/asset management, capital markets, and data/analytics, and has led a number investments for the firm across these sectors. Sam began his career as an Investment Professional at Aquiline Capital Partners, a New York-based private equity firm specializing in technology and financial services investments. Sam also held operating roles at two Aquiline portfolio companies. Sam graduated from the University of Chicago in 2017 with a BA in History. When not working, Sam is most likely enjoying live music, diving into a great book, or somewhere in the mountains hunting for powder.
Jameson Hartman
RET Ventures
Jameson joined the RET team in March 2020 after spending 4 years with Goldman Sachs' Real Estate IB group in New York. Jameson spends most of his time working with energy and construction tech startups and has a particular interest in sustainability. He is a local to Northern Utah, with a B.S. in Finance from Utah State University. Jameson enjoys anything and everything related to the outdoors but more often than not he spends his free time playing soccer with his wife or skiing the slopes of Alta.
