Jon Pike
City of St. George
My educational background is in finance, health insurance, and marketing. My career has been with Intermountain Healthcare in one capacity or another since August of 1990. In 1995, I came from Salt Lake City to St. George, Utah to initiate a presence for SelectHealth, the insurance division of Intermountain Healthcare, in southern Utah.
My key responsibilities have been in provider relations, provider contracting, marketing, broker relations, hospital planning and relations, and community and government relations. I currently direct the operations of SelectHealth in the southwest Utah region.
I enjoy working with people and together solving complex problems. This is part of what led me to run for St. George City Council in 2007. I enjoyed serving in that capacity and now enjoy serving as the Mayor of St. George since being elected in November of 2013.
I have a wonderful wife, five amazing children, and one grandson with another on the way!
