Consent is about so much more than sex. Practicing and honoring consent is essential to navigating relationships and interactions throughout our lives. This discussion explores the powerful principles of consent and how they can help us empower children, foster healthy relationships in our families, and reduce the risk of sexual abuse.
Annie Hartvigsen is a Global Outreach Strategist for Saprea. She has worked in nonprofits, and specifically outreach and education, for the last 10 years. She joined the Saprea team in 2018. Annie has always felt a drive to make public programs more accessible to community members, whether that means expanding programming or helping the public connect with existing organizations and services. In her current role, she gets to collaborate with partners from all over the world doing just that.

Sabrina Trimble is a Global Outreach Strategist for Saprea, a nonprofit organization that exists to liberate individuals and society from child sexual abuse and its lasting impacts. Sabrina’s role includes reaching out to parents, caregivers, and individuals in the community to educate and empower them with tools to feel confident in talking to their children about healthy sexuality. She is passionate about protecting children and supporting parents and caregivers.
